From 24th July it will be mandatory to wear a face covering inside shops in England. It is already mandatory to wear one on public transport and when visiting a healthcare setting such as your GP surgery, for those over the age of 11 and who are not exempt (see below).
When you wear a face covering, it can be a mask, scarf or bandana and will need to cover your nose and mouth.
